Little Know Facts {Listable Life}

1. ) I love roundabouts. When I was 21 and in England, I discovered my first roundabout.

What?

They didn’t make those in my small hometown. Or my college town.

We had a couple in Hawaii, and those were fun.  And now we live here…and there are two glorious roundabouts I get to drive around on a regular basis…

I’m a nerd.

Moving on.

2.) Red Velvet cupcakes are my all time favorite cupcake. Unfortunately, my New Year’s Eve party goers didn’t devour even a third of what I made, and I have officially eaten… ALL. OF. THEM.

Ok, so there are two left, but you know who will be consuming them…{points to self}

3.) Alex O’Loughlin is my celebrity crush…oh wait, I told you that already.

4.) When I pour my girls a glass of milk, I almost always drink it up and then refill it. I guess I crave milk. Perhaps it should be more on the daily plan than the carafes of coffee I drink each day.

5.) I have allowed my 6 year-old to watch Phineas and Ferb and the Harry Potter series. {Gasp!} But, I don’t do Sponge Bob. I’ve got standards people.

6.) I love to throw a good party. Exhibit A:

When we have a “fancy” party, we remove all the furniture from our living room and put up tables and leave room for dancing. Because…well…we don’t get out much and so, I have to bring the “club” to my house once a year. Maybe twice.

Although, you should be forewarned, should you attempt your own party…there may be dudes like this…

Who love to ham it up with moves like the “Running Man”. It’s all fun and games until someone “Running Man’s” into your TV.

{Ahem}

Thankfully, that didn’t happen, but oh-so-close! For the record, I would totally encourage him to do it again, because it was hilarious! Just…on the other side of the room.

But I digress.

I even like to make people dress up to come to said parties so they can stand in front of my neato transformed mantle.

This mantle on a regular day has our wedding photo in place of the 2012 and our kids in frames elsewhere. But, it had to be transformed to complete the room. It was a must-do element of the decor.

{Ahem}

Doesn’t my husband look handsome? We do clean up nice. You know, if I say so myself.

Oh, and please note the shoes. I wear the shoes I say I wear. Truth is in the picture folks.

7.) I’m a total procrastinator by nature. It’s a sickness. I thrive under the pressure I think….or drink more wine under it, whatevs.

8.) I can’t really think of anymore because the twins are yelling for me to come get them out of bed and my neighbor is forcing me to get active and stuff. So I must go walking.
