I sometimes have issues staying focused. Call it ADD, or simply the nature of having a house full of children.
My oldest is at the age of keeping herself entertained. She’ll head outside and hang with her friends, jump on the iPad and play a game or play with her toys. She’s pretty much self-sufficient.
But the twins…they’re two. They want what they want when they want it…
This is Charlotte who crawled in my lap while I was working…
And then there’s Maddie, she’ll crawl in my lap, lock her eyes with mine and say, with enthusiasm, “HI!” and then pucker up, “MMMMMM” and wait for a kiss.
**I’m really not a fan of how the iPhone camera makes me look all haggard and baggy eyed…but I digress**
Then you add in the fact that these are looming in the pantry…
Let’s just say my productivity has been less than stellar these days.
How do you keep focus with distractions around?

I know I will miss all this though, they are so cute right now. I just wish they wouldn’t interrupt ever two minutes. If they could break it up like every 10 minutes…that would help
My 3yo daughter does the same thing. Right now even, she’s currently hugging around my neck.

Awe! So cute! These times are adorable and frustrating at the same time, aren’t they? Ha!

My 2 year old spends half his time entertaining himself, and the other half climbing all over me and hugging my head, so I pretty much just stay present for him when he does.
So yes, productivity suffers, but baby kisses don’t last forever, so there’s that.

Oh baby kisses, how I love them so.
My two year old is currently sitting behind me in the chair I’m about to fall out of so I can give him enough room to do some sort of gymnastic move. Boys rock!

I would imagine its hard to get anything done with those sweet faces. B is three and he entertains himself with his toys, outside on his bike, or playing on my Kindle Fire. But C is only 17 months and still needs me to entertain him most of the time. I tell myself there will be time when they are older to be more productive, but now they are still little and I want to enjoy that time as much as possible.
Your girls sure are adorable!

Agreed, I do try to stop and just be with them when they do things like this because they just want their Mama and I need to be with them. They’re worth every second and every extra kiss and cuddle.
Distractions.
Wait, what was this post about again?

Hahaha! Right? That about sums up how my brain works most of the time!
I always feel like the Iphone makes my son look adorable and me look terrible, lol. The girl scout cookies got the best of me a few weeks ago.

I think the latest iPhone has a better camera, I feel jipped. I always look like a hag. I swear there wasn’t severe airbrushing on my headshot. I’m not a total hag in real life. Although admittedly, I do have some dark circle action happening some days. Ha!
