I find myself entertained at how the simplest of things bring joy and laughter in my house…
Like playing peek-a-boo in the curtains
It’s a reminder to me that simple is ok.
When something as simple as a dusting of snow can light up their world for the day…
It reminds me that the latest and greatest new thing isn’t going to make my girls happier in life.
When I see my girls playing with empty milk cartons or tossing around red solo cups they found in the cabinet, I am reminded that less is more.
When I find my girls lining up chairs to create a choo-choo train…
I am a reminded that their imagination is more beautiful and fun than any toy that I can buy in the store.
When my daughters choose to cuddle up with me while I type away on this computer instead of diving into that beautiful toy room that’s just for them, I am reminded that they just need me.
They just need love.
They just need simplicity and a little imagination.
Less is more.
