I think it’s possible that Type A Parent Conference is my favorite conference to date. The reason I say this is because it wasn’t too small and it wasn’t overwhelming either – it was just right. I was able to visit with many of the people I adore and chat with regularly online and I didn’t feel overwhelmed with trying to make those visits happen.
I loved that I had quality time with friends that I talk to all the time online while also learning some new things and solidifying things I already knew.
I swear there was learning happening….
The mix of quality sessions (the ROI session with Holly Hamann from BlogFrog and Adam Keats from Weber Shandwick was fantastic!), networking and fun was perfect. It was just the right balance, which is why I will likely go again. Not to mention it’s within driving distance of my home, so there’s that.
I swear we didn’t goof off the whole time….there may or may not have been some shenanigans amidst the learning…but I really did come home with some great takeaways as well…but that’s for another post. This post was meant for picture fun. Wordful Wednesday…just barely….11:26pm on my clock to be exact.
Have you been to Type A? Did you attend this year? Would you go again? Do you prefer a conference with a mix of social and business or strictly learning focused?
