Work With Me
My name is Nicole and I am a temporarily-retired educator, freelance writer, editor and social media manager.
Currently, I am the Blog Coordinator at EverydayFamily.com.
Previously, you could find me as the Managing Editor of Savvy Sassy Moms, a staff writer and social media manager for Brightline Media’s Smart Mom Picks, Smart Mom Style and Modern Home Modern Baby and I am a regular features writer for Military Spouse Magazine, a print publication that reaches military spouses nationally as well as internationally.
Additionally, I have written in the past for Hawaii Parent Magazine, contributed to SITS Girls & Tip Junkie on a variety of projects as well as guest posted for a variety of lovely friends and bloggers.
My personal blog Moments that Define Life shares the many ups and downs of parenthood. It has become a resource to many parents who are enduring a Mono-Mono Twins pregnancy - a high-risk pregnancy that happens in less than 1% of twin cases.
I have also enjoyed paying it forward in the blog world with my Blog Idol Interview Series which provides sound advice to novice bloggers.
I am open to brand sponsored conversations and giveaways provided they are a good fit for the content here at MTDL.
I am also interested in taking part in cause marketing campaigns through writing, speaking and social media opportunities. Campaigns of interest include those that are relevant to:
- The health and well-being of women.
- The support and development of a healthy self-image for young girls.
- The education and care of disadvantaged children.
- Programs and events which support parents of premature children.

Hi Nicole! We first “met” during the Sits girls DBBB last January. I’m a huge admirer of your writing and your work as a social media encourager.
I’m hosting a chat on TheMotherhood.com this Thursday about kids and cell phone use. I wondered if you might be interested in co-hosting?
Here is the link:

The chat is very much like a twitter party, but hosted on their site. And the time is 1:00-1:40 or so EST.
If this is at all interesting to you, I hope you’ll let me know!
All the best,
Debi (@AskDocG)

Hi Debi!
Thanks so much for thinking of me!
I would love to join you for the chat, unfortunately, I will be traveling on Thursday on my way to Type A. I’m sorry to miss it! Please keep me in mind for next time though!

Hi Nicole,
Today was the first time I linked to you and I made a little error but can’t fix it. I wanted my name under the post to say Molley@Amotherlife instead of my name. I didn’t realise ‘name’ meant what I wanted it to look like. Are you able to edit this for me please?
Hope you can help.
Molley
Hi Nicole,
I enjoyed perusing your site and would be interested in exploring the possibility of working together. My friend and I are the creators of Little Stars Bedtime Cards – a gentle and affirming bedtime ritual for children ages 3-6. If you feel there is a good fit with your philosophy, I would love to chat further. Our website is http://www.bedtimecards.com.
Thanks!
Shannon
